Object Description
A lovely 9ct rose gold double graduated Albert chain, circa 1910.
Hallmarked 9 and 375 and stamped on every link. It weighs 36.7 grams, closes with two dog clips, each hallmarked EW&S and measuring 25mm, with a solid T-bar of 35mm marked EW&S 375. It measures 15 inches in length and the graduated links measure from 4mm to 7mm.

This chain was previously worn as a Gentleman’s watch chain. The T- bar would have been placed through the button hole of a waist coat, and the dog clips attached to the pocket watch and a swivel fob or seal. Now, in modern times, they are much sought after as a fashionable necklace.
