Object Description
Edwardian Colombian emerald and diamond three stone ring. Set to centre with an octagonal emerald-cut natural Colombian emerald with no colour enhancement in an open back claw setting with a weight of 0.89 carats, flanked by two round old cut diamonds in open back claw settings with a combined approximate weight of 1.30 carats, all to an elegant three stone design featuring curving claws, a pierced gallery and open backholing, leading to inwardly tapering raised shoulders with chenier detail and flowing through to a solid shank. Tested 18 carat yellow gold and platinum, circa 1910, accompanied by Gem Research Swisslab report #GRS2017-093601.
