Object Description
Edwardian diamond three stone ring. Set to centre with one cushion shape old mine diamond, K colour, VS2 clarity, with a weight of 1.82 carats in an open back claw setting, flanked by two cushion shape old mine diamonds in open back claw settings with a combined approximate weight of 1.70 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 3.52 carats, to an impressive three stone design featuring split curving claws, a pierced gallery and circular open backholing, the slightly tapering shoulders flowing through to a solid flat shank. Tested platinum, circa 1915, accompanied by Gemological Institute of America (GIA) report #2225529209.
