Object Description
A beautiful double row pearl necklace c.1910 with an emerald and diamond three stone clasp, the necklace strung with one hundred and seventy four lustrous natural saltwater cream pearls with a soft pinkish overtone, gently graduated in size from 3.0mm to 6.7mm in diameter, fastened with a tongue and box clasp set with an emerald-cut emerald between two old-cut diamonds in rubover settings. This lovely necklace sits around the base of the neck, the gently graduated sizes creating a pleasing shaping. The light reflects off the pearls creating a soft glow, this is an elegant and flattering jewel.
