Object Description

Edwardian jade and diamond coronet cluster ring. Set to centre with a single oval cabochon natural unenhanced jade in an open back setting with an approximate weight of 5.80 carats, encircled by twenty four cushion shape old mine cut diamonds in open back rubover and grain settings, with a combined approximate weight of 1.44 carats, further adorned by six round eight cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 0.06 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.50 carats, to an elegant coronet cluster design with millegrain borders, a smooth platinum collet and ornate fancy backholing leading to raised shoulders with ridged detail, flowing through to a solid D-shape shank. Tested platinum, circa 1910, accompanied by Gemmological Certification services report #79206-66.
