Object Description
Edwardian natural pearl and diamond brooch/pendant. Set with four natural unenhanced white saltwater pearls in closed back settings, decorated and surrounded by thirty six round old cut diamonds in open back grain and rubover settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.90 carats, to an elegant openwork design featuring a radiating centre, stylised bow motif to bottom with fine millegrain borders throughout, scalloped edging and fancy shaped backholing, fitted to reverse with a removable hinged pin and suspended from a removable yellow gold trace chain approximately 17″ in length with a secure spring C-clasp fitting. Tested yellow gold and platinum, numbered ‘ 6655’, chain marked 15 carat yellow gold, English, circa 1905.
