Object Description
Edwardian pearl and diamond crossover ring. Set with a round natural saltwater pearl, approximately 7.6-7.9mm x 6.2mm, in an open back fluted setting, set diagonally with a round old cut diamond, I colour, I1 clarity, with a weight of 1.21 carats in an open back claw setting, to an elegant two stone crossover design featuring curving claws, an intricately pierced gallery and fancy open backholing, flanked by inwardly tapering, scrolling shoulders which flow through to a solid slim D-shape shank. Marked 18 carat yellow gold, tested platinum, English, circa 1910, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #78128-04 and Gemological Institute of America (GIA) report #1226033871.
