Object Description
Edwardian yellow diamond three stone ring. Set to centre with a round old cut yellow diamond in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 1.15 carats, flanked by two round old cut diamonds in open back claw settings with a combined weight of 1.55 carats, further decorated with four round old cut diamonds in closed back grain settings with a combined weight of 0.08 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 2.78 carats, to an ornate three stone design featuring curving stylised claws, an intricately decorated gallery with scrolling motifs and open and closed backholing, leading to carved shoulders with foliate detailing and flowing through to a solid D-shape shank. Tested yellow gold, circa 1905.
