Object Description

An Egyptian alabaster amulet depicting a wadj or rolled papyrus scepter. The body is shaped in typical column form, tapering towards the bottom. A smooth ridge features towards the top, beneath a splayed terminal, upon which is a loop for suspension. The alabaster is a pleasing, light-cream coloured shade, enhanced by thin white veins and natural striations.
