A Petit Bookcase in the Manner of the Adam Brothers
Constructed in Satinwood, with cross banding, and polychrome hand painted decoration; rising from tapering spade feet, the incurved lower section having a lockable cupboard door, extensively painted with a central trophy set about with swags and foliates, enclosing a shelved interior; a single drawer in the frieze dressed with addorsed griffins, and further foliate swags; fitted with a secretaire drawer, over, two glazed doors each with seven pane astragals enclose a shelved interior, and surmounted by a broken arch pediment.
