A 19th century oval drop leaf Pembroke table of exhibition quality.
The table top is made of figured satinwood with a box wood edge and a cross banded and inlaid outer rim.
The table stands on four turned tapering satinwood legs with carved decoration and joined together by a concave sided shelf that is cross banded and inlaid to match the top.
The bow fronted drawer is inlaid and cross banded, mahogany lined and has a gilt brass oval plate and ring handle.
The table has two drop leaves that are supported on a hinged flap when open.
The table is of exceptional quality and in good condition. (Circa 1880)
