Object Description

This fine armorial Georgian silver salver was made in London in 1825 by John Terrey and measures almost 12.25 inches in dia, it has a shaped border with shell decoration and is beautifully engraved around the edge of the face and has a florid cartouche to the centre where there is a lovely coat of arms. It stands on four scrolled feet and is fully and clearly hallmarked to the back, a very attractive salver in very good condition weighing 28 ounces or 873 grams.
