Object Description
This fine Charles II silver Puritan spoon was made in London in 1664 by Stephen Venebles and measures 7 1/8 inches in length and bears the engraved initials G over I*S to the back of the stem where it is also fully and clearly hallmarked, it is marked in the bowl with the crowned leopards head and the bowl itself is well formed and of super gauge, a very good quality spoon in excellent condition weighing ounces or grams.
