This elegant example has artistic design characteristics of English Needlepoints of the mid-19th century. The overall drawing of the central field is well-balanced and is framed by a wide border of generous proportions.
A particularly attractive feature is the uniformity of the colours and main border instead of the traditional contrasting colours.
