Object Description

This fine crested George II silver serving fork was made in London in 1773 by Thomas Chawner and measures 11.75 inches in length and is crested to the top with a wild boar rising from a crown, it is fully and very clearly bottom hallmarked and the condition and the feel of it in the hand is superb, a very useful item in excellent condition weighing ounces or grams.
