Fine English early 18th century George II period dressing stool in black walnut, of generous proportions, covered in extremely fine early 18th century English gros and petit point needlework 

Circa 1740.

Of rectangular shape, raised on four well-shaped cabriole legs with foliate carving to the knees.

Superb color and patination, minor restorations.
