Object Description

This fine pair of crested bright cut engraved George III silver gravy or stuffing spoons were made in London in 1779 by William Cripps and measure almost 12 inches in length and are crested to the fronts with an unusual crest of a raised arm coming out of a trunk holding a broken scimitar, they are fully and clearly bottom marked to the back of the stem and are in excellent condition weighing 6.80 ounces or 213 grams.
