Object Description
This fine Queen Anne Britannia silver tazza was made in London in 1707 by Jonathan Madden and measures 10 inches across the face by 3.25 inches tall and 4 1/8 inches in dia across the trumpet foot. It has a lovely rope border with double cypher initials inside a florid cartouche to the centre of the face with the foot also having a rope border and marked inside with the lions head erased. It is fully and clearly hallmarked to the face and is in excellent condition weighing 17.5 ounces or 541 grams.
