A very good example of a mid 19th century Victorian mahogany three door breakfront wardrobe.
The robe is made from mahogany with the finest figured mahogany veneers used for the door fronts which have recessed panels and serpentine mouldings.
The doors have a carved detail to the top centre of each panel and wonderful scroll carved decorations to the top of the middle door.
The two wing compartments are for full hanging with a drawer in the base.
The centre compartments have four drawers, three with brass handles and four sliding trays.
The overhanging cornice has a moulded edge to match the doors and the wardrobe plinth is raised on flat turned mahogany bun feet.
The wardrobe is in excellent original condition with working locks and keys.
The wardrobe is priced to have hanging rails fitted at each end and for a general tidy up of any minor chips or marks. (Circa 1870)
