A small early 20th century dark green leather dressing case.
The interior of the case has a water marked silk lining and is fitted out with assorted glass jars, brushes and cases.
The fittings comprise of nine assorted jars and bottles, four brushes, a pin cushion, a vesta match case, a hair grip case, a lift out mirror, a manicure set and a comb.
All of the metal backs and lids appear to be gold plated but have no markings.
The manicure set has a penknife with plated blades and a very cute folding pair of nail scissors.
The case has a locking catch and working key and a carrying handle.
All of the gold plated backs and lids have stylised initials engraved ‘S G M’.
The case and fitting are in good order with on glass jar missing and some minor wear to the edge of the leather case. (Circa 1925)
