Fred of Paris yellow sapphire ring. Set with eighteen round brilliant cut natural unenhanced yellow sapphires in open back rubover gypsy settings with an approximate combined weight of 1.00 carat, interspersed throughout to a heavy curving form with smooth polished edges and circular open backholing, the heavy integrated shoulders tapering to a solid curved shank. Marked 18 carat yellow gold, maker’s mark ‘FRED PARIS’, numbered ‘S1985304’, circa 1970.
