French Art deco Wooden Carved Room Panelling.
Very rare to find this stylish panelling, the wood used has a very fine grain and is carved in the linocut / chip carving technic.
the two main panels have the subject of Penelope how is sitting behind a loom for 20 years to wait for her husband Odysseus coming back from his travel to Troje, the other panel with adorers which have no chance to perched her.
The two panels are surrounded by beautiful carved curtains hanging in folds, you can clearly see the shadow parts of the curtains.
All woodwork in original condition with beautiful old patinaition and original paint work.
