Object Description
A French 18ct yellow gold, sapphire and diamond vintage mouse brooch c. 1960s, the characterful mouse standing upright on its back legs and with curled tail, large ears and long whiskers, the body set throughout with round sapphire cabochons, the eyes set with emeralds and surrounded with pavé set single cut diamonds, all to a double pin brooch fitting. This wonderfully whimsical little mouse is formed in textured gold and has such a sweet expression, his exaggerated features such as over-large ears and extra long whiskers only adding to his charm.
