This delicate tea set is a beautiful example of the Rococo Revival. The pieces in the set are crafted from Sèvres style porcelain, featuring a pale blue ground painted with great abundances of flowers. The porcelain throughout is mounted with engraved silver, as finely crafted as the porcelain itself.
The set includes a tea pot, a sugar bowl with cover, a milk jug, two cups and two accompanying saucers, and a large, oval tray. The entire set is contained by an original fitted travel case.
Each piece features a spurious Sèvres mark to the reverse.
