Vintage Full Length Leather Coat by Indiana, Canada.
A good quality lined Gent’s double-breasted black leather coat by Indiana, Montreal, Canada. The full length trench coat has 1 external breast pocket with flap, two further external pockets also with flaps and one large internal breast pocket on the left-hand side. Above the internal pocket is the remains of a cloth trade label ‘The Hague-Holland, Indiana’. It is possibly a motoring coat or a German Military coat. There is a slit at the back that can be buttoned up and an internal waist belt. The wide lapels can be turned up and buttoned up to keep out the cold, there is also a chin strap for extra protection which can be removed and stored inside the coat. Although there are belt loops on the outside of the coat, there is no belt, it is also missing some buttons.
