Object Description

A Geo II carved mahogany tripod table, the revolving sunflower shaped top having a double raised moulded edge,supported by a birdcage ,onto a tripod base with carved knees and feet.English/Irish circa 1750.

Object History

Estate of the late Cecil Bruton, former Principal of Bruton Knowles Auctioneers,an established judge of English furniture , true gentleman and employer of the late Arthur Negus.

Object Condition

Good colour and patina with a one piece top,unusual carving on the knees and feet.The brass catch has been replaced at some time otherwise in good original condition.
