Object Description

A good quality antique sterling silver salver with a shaped bead border and ball and claw feet. The centre has a large hand engraved coat of arms within a finely executed cartouche. Weight 904 grams, 29 troy ounces. Diameter 30cm. Height 48cm. London 1774. Maker probably John Carter II.

Object Condition

This silver tray is in very good condition. The silver marks are well stamped and clear. The engraving still has good definition. There is 1 small border repair which is hard to see.
