Circa 1900. A quality George III style mahogany four door cabinet bookcase. Moulded cornice with elegant moulding in the frieze, with four glazed doors with elegant oval glazing bars. Each section has four solid mahogany shelves with ribbed facings and brass beading separating the two center doors. The base with two long drawers in the center with swan neck handles, flanked by a bank of five graduating drawers each side, with a pair of doors, each with framed panel in the center with canted corners and carved plamettes. All of the drawers are lined with mahogany. Beneath the cupboards and the drawers there are further mouldings and the whole piece stands on an enclosed breakfront plinth.
