Object Description
A George IV mahogany sideboard stamped Gillows Lancaster.
The sideboard has three mahogany lined drawers that have cock beaded edges and turned mahogany knob handles.
The sideboard has three doors with figured mahogany recessed panels and a moulded bead.
The left door contains a cellaret drawer, the central and right doors have two adjustable shelves in each.
The sideboard has a short back that has fine flame mahogany recessed panels.
The sideboard is stamped ‘Gillows Lancaster’ along a drawer edge and a door top edge.
This quality Gillows sideboard is in good condition with a key for each lock, the short back can be removed an not used if desired. (Circa 1830)
