A George IV mahogany open bookcase.
The bookcase has two adjustable shelves and a disguised drawer.
The top of the bookcase has a low shelf with carved scroll supports.
The frieze below the top is a disguised drawer that has a locking pin at each end to keep it closed.
The front of the bookcase has a pair of decorative reeded serpentine pillars, one each side of the shelves.
The bookcase is in good condition with a good adjustment to the two shelves. (Circa 1835)
