Object Description
An early 20th century George V sterling silver and tortoise shell trinket box.
The oblong box has tortoise shell panels to the sides and top, a hinged lid and stands on four shaped legs.
The lid has an ornamental piqué work wreath and bow in the centre.
The interior base of the box is weighted and covered in a mustard colour velvet.
The box has sterling silver assay marks for London, the year 1919 and the maker’s mark for possibly Corke & Apthorp.
The box is in good condition. (Circa 1919)
