(This 18th century chest is constructed from very, very high
quality mahogany and is as fit for purpose as the day it was
made. It has replacement brass handles, but they are old and
of the exact design of the type you would expect this piece to
have originally sported. It is also raised on later bracket feet
but again these sit well on the chest and are very much of the
design and style that it would originally have had.)
