Georgian mahogany bookcase.

Object Description

A Geo III mahogany glazed door bookcase with dentil cornice,adjustable shelves with centre division.The bottom panelled doors opening to reveal adjustable shelves again with a centre division.Good bold plinth which is separate.
English Circa 1780.
A useful bookcase that could take books ,porcelain or objets with the split shelves making it very adaptable.

Object History

Has an old label on the back from an address in Ditcheat,Somerset.

Object Condition

Fine colour and in lovely country house condition with excellent panel doors .
