A late 18th century Georgian mahogany bow fronted sideboard.
The sideboards has acentral drawer, a cupboard and cellaret and stands on six legs.
The top has a box wood edge and is cross banded to the front.
The front of the sideboard is box wood strung, cross banded and veneered with figured mahogany.
The drawer and cellaret have oval central panels that are strung and cross banded.
The gilt brass handles are round with rings and although antique they are not original.
The six legs are square, tapering, reeded and have spayed toes, the upper part of each leg has carved harebell decoration.
The central recess is decorated with carved fans in the corners.
The sideboard is made from good quality mahogany, lined with oak and is in good condition. (Circa 1795)
