Object Description
An early 19th century Georgian mahogany lamp or side table.
The table has an oblong top that has cut corners, a decoratively turned stalk and three swept tapering square legs, sometimes called an umbrella base.
The top is made from a wonderful single piece of mahogany called “Plum Pudding” because of the figuring of the grain that has natural circular darker marks that look like a plum or fruit pudding.
The table is in very good condition and is excellent quality. (Circa 1820)
