Fine mahogany case standing on bracket feet with canted reeded corners. Long break arch trunk door with canted reeded corners, break arch hood with swan neck pediment, reeded pillars with brass capitals to either side of the hood door surmounted by a brass finial..
Beautifully painted dial with Roman numerals, subsidiary dial for seconds and calendar aperture original ‘blued’ steel hands signed John Morrison, Edinburgh.
