An early 19th century Georgian mahogany secretaire bookcase.
The bookcase has a glazed cabinet top with a central division and six reeded edged adjustable shelves.
The cabinet doors are ten pane astragal glazed with locking bolts and a lock and key.
The chest base has a fitted secretaire drawer over three long drawers.
The secretaire drawer has a decoratively inlaid and veneered interior with six small drawers, eight pigeon holes, a small cupboard door and a baize covered writing surface.
The bookcase is in good condition. (Circa 1820)
