Object Description
A late Georgian mahogany tip top supper table.
The table has an oblong top with a reeded edge that has a locking catch underneath that allows the top to tip.
The base comprises a central column with curved downward shaped legs and a splay toe and is sometimes called an “umbrella” base.
The table is constructed from mahogany throughout and is in good condition.
The locking catch underneath is an antique style replacement. (Circa 1830)
