Georgian Oval Centre Table
A late 18th to early 19th century Georgian oval mahogany centre or breakfast table.
The table top has a later applied zebra wood cross banded edge and box wood chequered inlays, the centre has a large oval conch shell inlay with an inlaid chequered surround.
The centre turned column tapers and has turned detail decoration.
The table has a quadruped base with four swept square legs that terminate in square gilt brass toes with casters.
The table top has a brass release catch underneath that allows the top to tip.
The table is very well made and in good condition with later inlays. (Circa 1800)
