An 18th century Georgian Scottish mahogany brass dial grandfather clock.
The clock has an eight day striking movement with a brass dial that has a silverised chapter ring and a seconds dial.
The top of the dial has a silverised maker’s name plaque ‘Charles Farquharson Dundee’ (formally from Edinburgh).
The mahogany case has a long slim door with quarter Corinthian columns at each side and stopped reeding.
The hood has a swan neck pediment with satin birch blind fret work decoration and a brass finial and patera.
The glazed door on the hood has a reeded Corinthian pillar to each side.
The clock has a wonderful 18th century Georgian mahogany case and is in good working condition. (Circa 1795)
