Object Description

A very pretty antique sterling silver bottle ticket with a silver chain. Very heavy quality with cherubs, bunches of grapes and pierced across the centre with “Vin de Grave”. Weight 42 grams, 1.3 troy ounces. Measures 6 x 4.4 cm. Fully hallmarked across the piercing for maker Phipps & Robinson. Circa 1800.

Object Condition

This unusual silver label is in very good condition with no damage or restoration. Fully stamped with clear English silver hallmarks however some of this has been lost by the piercing.
This item is not new and will show moderate signs of wear commensurate with age. Reflections in the photograph may detract from the true representation of this item.
