A glass spirit Flask in leather case and with a cup.
The flask is made of moulded glass with 12 faceted sides. Towards the top the facets give way to a rounded edge for the cup to fit easily over. The nickel plated screw cap is lined with cork to give a good seal. The plated cup has a turned lip and a gilt wash to the interior.
The leather case has developed a good colour with darker patches to the top and one side where the flask’s contents have spilt. The top has a popper button to fix it.
This type of flask was sold by a number of retailers and was produced in a variety of sizes. This is one of the bigger sizes. Early 20th Century.
