Object Description

This George III silver curved snuff box was made in Birmingham in 1810 by William Boot and has the engraved coat of arms of the Gurney family of Norfolk on the flush hinged lid along with the original initials in flowing script of GG, it is gilded to the interior and fully hallmarked inside top and bottom, a nice box in good condition weighing 1.50 ounces or 47 grams.
