Object Description

This very nice Charles I silver slip top spoon was made in London in 1632 by Richard Crosse and measures 6.25 inches in length, it is fully and clearly hallmarked to the back of the stem and bears the engraved initials of M over EI to the back of the bowl and the initials EW to the front of the stem. It is marked in the bowl with the leopards head and the bowl is well formed with no obvious signs of wear, a very nice spoon in very good condition. Weighing1.15 ounces or 35 grams.
