Object Description

This Charles I silver slip top spoon was made in London in 1628 by EP conjoined inside a crescent and measures 6 5/8 inches in length, it bears the engraved initials T over TI on the slip top and is fully hallmarked to the back of the stem. The bowl is well formed and of good gauge and has the crowned leopards head inside it, a very nice early spoon in very good condition weighing 1.40 ounces or 43 grams.
