Object Description
This crested Scottish George II silver Hanoverian 3 pronged dinner fork was made in Edinburgh in 1748 by Ker & Dempster with Hugh Gordon as assay master, it measures 7 5/8 inches in length and is crested to the back with a leopards mask amongst foliage and the bannered motto ESSAYEZ it is in very good condition and weighs 2.10 ounces or 65 grams.
