Object Description
This nice quality George III silver wine funnel was made in London in 1807 by Thomas Wallis and measures 4 12/16 inches in length by 3 1/8 inches in dia across the bowl. The border is French gadrooned with a plain clip and the spout rim is reeded, it is fully hallmarked to the bowl and the spout rim bears the makers mark, lion passant and monarchs head, a super funnel in very good condition weighing 2.80 ounces or 87 grams.
