Object Description

This good pair of cast Georgian silver wine labels were made in London in 1818 by John Brough and measure 2.5 inches wide by 2 inches deep, they are decorated with trailing vines, vine leaves and grapes with acanthus leaves below and a very nice leopards head central to the top, they bear the engraved names of SHERRY and PORT and are fully and clearly hallmarked to the backs, a lovely pair of bold wine labels in excellent condition.
