Object Description
This pair of crested Victorian Scottish silver Onslow pattern gravy/stuffing spoons were made in Edinburgh in 1878 by RR and measure 12 inches in length and are crested to the backs with a cockerel and a bannered motto above reading VIRTUTE ET LABORE (by virtue and labour) they are fully and very clearly hallmarked at the base of the stem and their bowls are well formed with no signs of wear, a very nice pair of spoons in a popular pattern weighing 7.45 ounces or 230 grams.
