Object Description
This pair of George III silver salvers were made in London in 1770 by John Carter and measure 7 5/8 inches in dia and have shaped gadrooned and shell borders with elaborate initials to the centre of RMT in flowing script, the outer edge of the salvers have scroll and shell designs to them and they stand on 3 cast ball and claw feet. They are fully hallmarked to the back and are in very good condition weighing 21.20 ounces or 660 grams.
